That Strome pick is so painful given the 2015 draft is in the running for the best in NHL history.
The funny thing is, it was the Leafs who got roasted for picking a small forward. LOL.
Did you watch the same game I did? I ask because the final score was 2-1, not 2-0. I can understand typo errors but in the very first sentence?
Archibald is probably going to miss a few games due to his head shot on Ryan Hartman last night. I couldn't believe he only got a 2 minute minor for that. He will have his hearing with the NHL today. He didn't launch himself but it was definitely a head shot. He will probably get 2 games.

He doesn't care as long as the Coyotes win, he's going to make them sound like legends and talk about all his stats day in day out. All he cares about is emphasizing on how 1/1000 of his skewed predictions came true.
But honestly, the Preds were probably just powerfully unlucky!

The blog title should be changed to Powerfully Bad Luck Defeats the Best Team in the NHL. After all, the Preds played as well without getting results as the Coyotes did earlier in the season. If you won't hold your team accountable for losses (because you chalk each one up to being unlucky), you don't have any business being happy for the wins, IMO.
I said it when the Knights were on their way to winning the Memorial Cup. I said it at the draft. I said it when Mitch played his first game. I say it louder today than I ever have before. Mitch Marner makes his linemates so much more dangerous than they are on their own.
Mitch was the real driving force in London. He put that team on his back. As good as Strome and Dvorak looked, it was because of Mitch, who did a lot of the work.
Look at a world class talent like John Tavares. A hockey player who did it all on his own in NYI on a nightly basis and became an elite centerman in the league on a really bad team. He has never produced at the rate that he is producing in Toronto, and he owes it all to Mitch the god damn Magician Marner. Mitch just impacts everyone so much. He makes good linemates look great. He makes great line mates look elite. He makes elite linemates look super-elite.
And on the other end, he makes opposing players look average.
Nashville and Tampa top to bottom have more complete rosters than the Leafs. Not sold on Toronto’s defense. If they were smart they’d trade Nylander for a Dman.

Did they? All I remember is everyone gushing over Marner.

I don't think I could have been any more clear in my article that Nashville deserved to win that game. You guys just see what you want most of the time it seems.
